MODEL:

This is the Wyvern (Mount) from Artisan Guild’s Dragonpeak Barbarians set. A perfect addition to a Conan the Barbarian style game.

BACKSTORY:

It is said that the first Wyvern was born from a dragon egg contaminated by the God Melmora in revenge for a wrong suffered by the dragon God Ghaomir. From that egg was born a dragon-like being but without the ability to speak, pure instinct and ferocity. Very territorial wyverns are hunted by the more daring because of the importance of their scales and the Dragon’s Blood used to create powerful alchemical concoctions. Throughout history many have died trying to tame the wyverns and only the strongest of the Dragonpeaks have succeeded.
