Maybe you’re a new DM and haven’t build up your physical miniatures collections, or you’re a traveling DM and can’t carry minis with you, OR you’re a DM on a tight budget…whatever the case, this 2D interlocking miniatures template can help you out!

This sheet is designed to create 4″ (D&D Size Gargantuan) minis.

It requires 2 letter sized sheets to assemble.

By purchasing this item, you’ll receive a blank fillable PDF. Then all you’ll need to do is follow these simple instructions:

1. Open PDF in Acrobat (not Preview)
2. Find images of the monsters you need (online), save them onto your computer, then insert them into the built-in image place holders.
3. Type in the monster names (Optional)
4. Get some 8.5×11″ card stock paper
5. Print at 100% Scale
6. Cut along the dotted lines.
7. Fold Part 1 and Part 2 in half.
8. Cut the slits (solid black lines)
9. Interlock the 2 Parts so the “miniature” stands.
10. Unleash it onto your players!

Optional Enhancements:

• You can tape the bottoms of each folded “part” to prevent splaying.
• You can laminate these to prolong their use

BONUS FEATURE:

Once you’re done with this mini, you can fold it back up and store it flat.

Technical Tips:

• Some images might fit better onto the minis if they’re cropped into square/1:1 shapes before inserting.
• JPG and PNG images works best. Avoid webp files.
• If you are having trouble entering text or inserting images, make sure you have the PDF open in Acrobat.
